The heat is on!!! It is another hot and humid summer in Houston.
The kids are out of school... time for vacations, swimming, cookouts, camps, baseball, ice cream and... mosquitos! All kidding aside, we are very thankful for air conditioning! We wanted to give everyone an update on what is happening around CTK.
Looking forward to Sunday, we want to wish all our Dads a Happy Father's Day. This Sunday we will have a special prayer of blessing over our Fathers.
We are nearing the end of the series on The Life of David. This week we will look at how the Tabernacle of David and the Covenant God made with David impacts our lives today and how it sets up the return of Jesus.
Our POP UP PRAYER MINISTRY is off to a good start. Last week we were in the Woodwinds Shopping Center off Sawdust Rd. (near Big Lots). We are looking forward to continuing on Saturdays throughout the Summer. However this week we will NOT meet due to the expected extreme heat indexes. We plan to continue on Saturday, June 24th at the same location.
We are planning a 4th of July get together at the Sanders' Home on July 4th. The plan is to meet around 7:30pm for Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Ice Cream and Fellowship. The Woodlands - Creekside Fireworks show happens right outside of our backyard. So those who want to see a great fireworks show can stay for the 9:30PM show. Just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the fellowship. Times subject to change. Follow our Private Facebook group for more details.
We are thankful for the powerful presence of the Lord moving among us recently. We are seeing the exercise of spiritual gifts and healings happening regularly. We are grateful and asking for more!! The level of faith is rising. Our church family is growing and experiencing genuine fellowship. We are excited for what God has in store for us as a church. If you are reading this and do not currently have a church home, we invite you to consider joining this family as we follow Jesus together.

- Intercessors - prayer is the heart of our church! A special intercessory group meets every Tuesday from 10AM to 12 Noon to pray for revival and awakening for our region.
