We are followers of Jesus Christ, committed to being in the center of Biblical, orthodox Christian teaching and practice, holding in common the faith that has been embraced by all Christians at all times and in all places, while actively engaging in God’s current work in our community -- where God's beautiful future is breaking into our present existence.

Solid, In-depth Bible Teaching
It is our desire to know the Bible, do what it says and experience the life it describes. The famous evangelist D.L. Moody once said the Bible was not given for our information, but our transformation. We believe the faithful study of the Scriptures leads us to an encounter with God that transforms our lives. "For the word of God is living and active..." Hebrews 4:12
Passionate Worship & Prayer
Our passion is to create an atmosphere where God is experienced, not just talked about. Our priority is to relate to God personally and encounter Him in a relational way. This is most effectively accomplished through intimate expressions of worship and pressing into God's heart through sincere prayer. "...let us draw near [to God] with a true heart in full assurance of faith..." Hebrews 10:22
Commitment To Loving Our Neighbors
We want God's truth, goodness and love to have a tangible expression in our community. Our commitment is to be engaged in God's kingdom work in our neighborhoods in practical ways; demonstrating the compassion of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit. "Let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth." 1 John 3:18
We Are A New Church In The Greater Woodlands Area
Beginning in our new location the Fall of 2022, we are in our formative stages.

Dan & Laura Sanders
Church Planters & Lead Pastors
Dan & Laura have been living with the dream of planting a church that would be a home for people of all ethnicities, cultures and backgrounds... who are drawn together by our shared passion for Jesus and our desire to be in the middle of what He is doing in the world. They have been married for 17 years.

Dan served as a Youth Pastor and Teaching Pastor in local churches in the Houston area prior to working with an International Christian Businessmen's ministry for the past 11 years . He earned a Bachelors degree in Theology from Houston Baptist University and a Masters in Applied Ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute (now Wagner University). Dan serves Christ The King Community Church as the Lead Pastor.
Laura attended Life Pacific College in Los Angeles, California were she earned a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies. She then served as a Chaplain for children and teens in the Foster Care system for 11 years. During that time she attended the Anaheim Vineyard Church under the ministry of John Wimber (Founding leader of the Vineyard Movement). Laura serves Christ the King Community Church as the Worship Pastor and oversees Pastoral Care and Prayer Ministries.
Today, Dan and Laura make their home in Spring, Texas, with their three sons -- Jonathan (16), Benjamin (14) and Matthew (12) -- and their little Cockapoo named Zoe. (because Laura wasn't going to be the only girl in the house). Laura enjoys reading books that inspire her, cooking, baking and entertaining, making and listening to music, and most of all, just being with those she loves. You will find Dan dreaming of taking a trip to the mountains and snow skiing, watching a good movie, reading and studying theology, enjoying live music, playing ball with the boys and most of all... hangin' out with his lovely bride.

Robert & Linda are long time residents of The Woodlands. Parents to two sons and grandparents to three grandchildren. They have been serving our church family as Elders since the Fall of 2022.
